FMI asks employees to nominate charities that are near and dear to their heart.

Allentown, PA—January 29, 2019

FMI, a privately held company focused on full service contract manufacturing, makes a donation to Animals in Distress.  This charity was nominated by many employees of FMI because there are so many animal lovers. Both Kevin Rhodes, CEO, and Sheryl Rhodes, VP of Sales & Marketing, have the arduous task of choosing the charities in which to donate based on employee input.  Animals in Distress receives no tax or public monies and relies totally on donations to provide medical care, behavioral rehabilitation, food, shelter, and most importantly, love to displaced animals. Kevin Rhodes stated that “As an animal lover myself, we at FMI are pleased to donate to Animals in Distress, a no-kill shelter located in the Lehigh Valley.”

About Animals in Distress

Animals In Distress is a non-profit, tax deductible sanctuary for animals who have little or no hope elsewhere. Our programs are designed to prevent suffering and to save lives. We believe that there is a special home somewhere for every pet if there is enough time to find it. We keep every animal admitted, providing medical care, behavioral rehabilitation, good food, shelter, and most important of all, love, until a suitable new home can be found. No animal is killed because it is unwanted, too old, or injured.

All donations are used for animal care expenses, since no one is paid for administrative, fund raising, and other non-animal care duties that are performed by a dedicated group of unpaid volunteers. The shelter receives no tax or public monies and relies totally on donations and fundraisers for its total operating budget.
